Ingredients
  

  • 1½ pounds fresh salmon fillet , skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onion for garnish

Equipment

  • Large nonstick or cast iron skillet

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon cubes dry and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear salmon in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter with garlic, then stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice; simmer 1–2 minutes.
  4. Return salmon to the skillet and toss to coat in the glaze for 1 minute.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion, then serve immediately.
